"The world that God created" the most expensive painting in 2023 in Ukraine

In October 2023 the surrealistic painting “The World that God Created” went on sale for $100 000 on art-mage.com. The author of this work of modern art is a Ukrainian artist and jeweler Art Mage.

The plot of this painting is deeply philosophical and epathetic at the same time. This work of painting evokes strong emotions and makes every viewer think about the meaning of human life in the XXI century.

Art Magician expresses with this painting his thought that the real life of most modern men and women, is very different from the life conceived and described by the Christian God in the Bible (1 and 2 chapters of the Book of Genesis).

The first sketches of this painting Art Mag painted in a bomb shelter at the end of February 2022, when the enemies were bombing and shelling his hometown of Kharkov. Work on the painting "The World God Created" Art Magician said it helped him survive the horror of the first months of the war in Ukraine.

Art Mag worked on this masterpiece of modern art for a year and a half and finished this work only in 2023. The painting " The World God Created" echoes the creative intent and technique of four paintings by great artists of the past:

"Enigmatic Elements in a Landscape" by Salvador Dali in 1934;

"Bust of a Woman" (portrait of Dora Maar) 1938 by Pablo Picasso.

"Christ in the Desert" 1872 by I.N.Kramskoy.

"Dance" 1957 by Salvador Dali.

In Ukraine and abroad Art Mag is known primarily for its golden statues of ancient and modern gods, unique jewelry watches and Lusk class epathetic jewelry for men and women.

Ukrainian artist Art Mag creates his paintings only under the order for private collectors. For this reason, he does not exhibit his paintings in galleries and museums.

The work of this modern Ukrainian artist, according to him, was strongly influenced by the works of psychoanalysis and psychology by Sigmund Freud “Beyond the Pleasure Principle”, Carl Gustav Jung “Man and His Symbols”, Carl Gustav Jung “Man and His Symbols”.

For the first time, Art-Mag was forced to put up for public sale the painting “The World That God Created” and six more of his surrealist paintings. Since a private collector from Singapore, who commissioned a series of these surreal works, was unable to buy these paintings due to financial problems in his business.

Art-Mag reported that he plans to donate part of the money from the sale of “The World Created by God” to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as part of the money to support the children’s art school “ZELO” in Poltava.
